  1. Certified pence, certified cents. Easier when the pics are resized!
  2. Oh man, GREAT stuff!!! I saw your post in pre-hero and bolted here! Unfortunately, I start my run at issue #50. GLWTS @mysterio
  3. Thanks! I will keep going, when I can find them that is. I'm still going to primarily concentrate on the pre-hero area, even more micro-squished down to the "circle price" issues as I call them. I remember your list showing oddities, like nothing in TOS or TTA before issue #10 and other issue gaps of a few issues here and there, so I'll need to revisit that list. Ultimately, I'd like a cents, a pence and a Mexican publication copy of as many issues as I can make happen. It's an odd goal, I know, but it intrigues me and I've never wanted my collection to be exactly like anyone else's!
  4. This is the sum total of the pence copies in my collection (that I remember having and have a picture of). As absurd as it sounds, I'm actually kinda proud about having a consecutive three issue block! As you can see, I have really only focused on the pre-hero area.
  5. I agree that it's probably an unattainable goal, especially for someone not in their 20s or 30s anymore. Money would also be a factor, but the wildcard there is that I still have luck finding the pence copies priced as though the seller thinks them a reprint or inferior in some way. Those are great days!!! Seldom happens with the big keys though. I didn't look the list over to see what the 3000 + figure encompasses, but I don't have any interest in pursuing pence Bronze Age books, just Silver Age for me at this time. Also, year by year could be a sub set worth assembling, say all of 1958 or something. What a picture that'd be, seeing them all laid out!!!
  6. I DID have this copy certified as I thought the first Ant-Man crossover and awesome Dr. Doom cover warranted encapsulation. I DO have a raw copy to thumb up, which made that decision MUCH easier to make! Raw copy below.
  7. Thanks pal, but they're right in that middle zone where they won't grade high enough to be even semi uncommon and they're just right to be able to handle a pretty raw copy.
  8. ALWAYS a favorite, I don't care WHAT language it's in!
  9. Bonus variant spectacle-free Doc Ock!!! His barber should've REALLY tackled that brow action!!!
  10. I kinda "spaced" on posting these copies. I know they're not books everyone appreciates, but some peeps dig them too, so I'm gonna throw them in quick. Getting caught up ...
  11. I have an average raw copy that I should've upgraded while it wasn't so expensive!
  12. Alani wielding a knife to Leopard Girl unsheathing a knife.
