  1. Uncle Sam Quarterly #4 let's say 2.0 although the cover image presents nicer for the grade. Ok, lots of tape repairs, mostly over small tears. Tape on inside cover spine at the staples and on 1st wrap at the staples. Tape over bottom staple on front cover. Several small pieces of tape on small tears on interior pages. Pages are nice off white, not brittle at all. Small piece off of bottom corner of the last page, barely touches art, but not any words. Big spine roll too. Oh and Hitler appears in a story too!!! GPA reports a sale in 2.0 a year ago on 5/20 for $250. My price is $200. SOLD
  2. Sha, you are now and shall forever BE Sha Perhaps "Sha Shares Sharp Shoptalk" fits ya better pal I appreciate everyone helping. I have looked over the guidelines and will proceed in a semi law abiding fashion .
  3. Thunda #2 5.0-5.5 WHITE pages. Rusty staples are the main defect here. Cover and centerfold firmly attached. Very bright cover colors and an overall freshness nice to find in this grade range. GPA no help, but it can be yours for $95. SOLD
  4. Daredevil #31 3.5 with cream to off white pages. Minor soiling on covers, a spine roll and small staple tears. Death of the Claw issue. Grizzly hanging cover. GPA has a 3.5 sold 9/19 for $175 (tax not included). Grab this one for $165 SOLD
  5. Bruce Gentry #2 5.0 c/ow pages. Solid copy with a small bug burrow starting at back cover, lessening going into the book, stopping before the front cover. It's at the bottom margin and doesn't affect any art at all. $275
  6. Not tonight, sorry. That's probably gonna have to be a Fiction House thread of its own. There are .... a lot.
  7. Sure thing RJ! I would've guessed that you'd seen it before at a fest, but maybe not. The books get going and it's hard to keep track!
  8. Nice! It's a great early issue and one I think could still see a lot of growth! Congrats on grabbing a copy!
  9. And yes, across the pond plays here too!!!
  10. As Goom is to Googam, they should've had an issue with Kraa's father .... wait for it ............ Kraa-dad? @Straw-Man would get that reference!
  11. Ronnie Rulebook is TOTALLY going to be my new alias when I don't want to use my real name!!! At Applebee's or similar restaurants, when they ask for a name I usually say Ted Nugent. When they announce, "Ted Nugent your table is ready" you should see people look around!!!! The time or two I've been challenged by them, my response is, "You asked for A name .... you DIDN'T ask for MY name!" I have to make it fun for me!
  12. La Prensa FF 43, front and back. Note: Since this pic was taken by the person I bought it from, the top corner has been folded back down without damage!
  13. Cow Puncher #6 It's beat, but complete, so even though it's readable and the cover image is largely nice (see last pic, cropped for your pleasure), I gotta call this a 0.5. GREAT Walter Johnson cover that should fit any budget. $40
  14. Congrats to the buyer and the seller! NOT an easy book to find!
  15. That's all for tonight gang! Thanks to all who have found (and continue to find) something for their collection! I'll be back tomorrow night to either add more or close this one out in favor of starting another thread this weekend. As always, thanks for looking!
  16. Captain Marvel #125 I'm gonna call this a 4.5 due to a humidity wave that is hard to make visible in the pics. Small amount of rust at bottom staple. This book is super tight feeling, as though it hasn't seen much circulation in the hobby. Without trying to come off as "Mr. Press Everything" this one would benefit from a press. Off white to white pages on this fresh copy that presents MUCH better than the assigned grade. $95 SOLD
  17. Captain Marvel Adventures #44 another super solid 5.0 that feels like a higher grade in hand. In fact, this one could benefit quite a bit from a press to remove the spine cockle and realign the book. Probably come up a goodly bit in grade, but that's up to the future owner. GPA reports a 5.0 selling 10 days ago for $135 (tax not included). Grab this pressing candidate for less $125. SOLD
  18. Whiz Comics #126 2.0 maybe 2.5. Off white-ish pages. 3 inch lower spine split but not at all brittle. Staple tears and a small piece off of back cover. Captain Marvel, Ibis and Golden Arrow stories inside. A genie cover for $25 SOLD
