  1. I know the American Edition is pre Silver Age but the Mexican Edition was printed in the Silver Age, so I'm gonna squeeze them in.
  2. Post your American Edition copies next to your twin Other Nation Edition copies. Certified and raw both play here. See below for an example. Even if this isn't in any way your thing, I hope you enjoy looking at the books posted here.
  3. Agreed! And as much as I'd like to be more skilled in the area, I'm not proficient enough to readily identify a lot of artwork merely be seeing or comparing it. Some, like Ditko, Kirby & Everett I'm pretty decent at, but anyone more obscure, totally lost. Some of the posts in this thread have gotten me interested in the magazines that feature Flanagan's artwork, so thanks to all who've taken the time to share them here!
  4. That's so cool that you remember that! I think he still has all of his USAs too.
  5. I didn't know you had any of these Billy boy! Maybe your NEXT run?
  6. I remember it being you Ricky who had the first Holcombe book that I ever saw. Can't remember what specific book, but probably a Timely.
  7. I am still and will forever BE grateful to Flessel for shedding light on and sharing the name of the artist who drew those spectacular unidentified DC covers, John Richard Flanagan!
  8. Not a great pic but I will dig it out this weekend for a better one. I sold this to a friend in the late 90s when I was going strong after Timelys and bought it back 20 years later, almost EXACTLY, to the month even. He managed to knock the cover loose from the interior (it was attached but worn when I sold it to him), so I slabbed it after thumbing it up for a while. It came back blue 2.0.
  9. Yes! A good deal on an FF 3 is ALWAYS something to be happy about!
  10. Wow, I don't recall ever having seen that many of those books in one place before. VERY nice!
