  1. Well done Billy boy!!! I don't own many D.C.'s either, but that's one I'd find room in a box for
  2. This is a shot of the Catman 22 interior.
  3. Here is a Catman that I bought last night. Obviously, I don't have it yet, but it looks cool and I can't wait to get an in-hand look at it (thumbs u
  4. I may have posted this before, but since I've just reacquired some of my scans from Billy's photobucket. I'll post it anyway.
  5. VERY very cool West Do you collect EVERYTHING??
  6. LOVE this one!!! Cheetah your collection is unbelievable
  7. As good as it ever gets, condition-wise! Thanks Alanna!!! Once again, thanks for keeping this thread alive!! I was VERY happy to see this thread this morning (thumbs u I have become interested in comics from all over the world in the past few years. I have some that I need to get scanned or photographed that I can add to this thread and probably start some others. It comes to mind that I purchased a few Australian Catman comics from my good friend Ricky at Bedrock City this past year in Chicago. I'll post pics when I get them taken. This website is a pretty handy guide to Oz reprints. The Batman #72 would seem to have been (re) printed in May 1956. If you like John Dixon's "Catman", keep a lookout for Paul Wheelahan's "Panther" - a very similar flavour, and like Dixon's Catman an original strip - not a reprint. Thanks Duffman, for both the website info and the Panther heads up. (thumbs u
  8. Giant-Man prototype? YES!!! Now there's a pal putting a positive spin on a less-than-great cover (thumbs u
  9. 9.8, white pages, pedigreed. yep, nobody around here cares about those things are you saying i didn't show enuff love for the last 9.8 you showed me? shame on you for holding out on us. I figured you to only look once at it Billy. Ricky'd like the condition and Pons woudn't like that he couldn't leaf through it The man knows his geeks Indeed I do Billbo!! I'm gonna be seeing them in 3 weeks Enough of this geek love-fest! Back on the short bus! A nice, clean copy of this oddball giveaway -- except for the tack holes. Jack Hey, this book came from MY area.

  11. Here's a Batman 72 that I was able to pick up at the same time I got the Superman 58. It doesn't list a date on the CGC label, but I'm gonna say it's safe to post it here in the Golden Age area.
  12. Here's the back cover to the Superman 58.
  13. Here's a Superman that I was able to pick up. I haven't seen many of these and would like to find some more
  14. Thank you SO much for giving this thread a bump!!! I didn't know it even existed and have been thinking about Australian comics lately. I only have a handful in my collection and only a few of them I actually have scans of. I will locate them and will post them to share. Thanks again AJD and Alanna (thumbs u
  15. This might be the worst Subby cover in the golden age. It's either this or Marvel Mystery 77 imo. This is a lil' low grader that I grabbed and might be seeing a crack party soon.
  16. Nice Though not a Schomburg, I rather like this cover. It's quite a bit less "busy" and that sets it apart from several surrounding issues for me. This particular copy seems to be one that I'd previously seen in the Evans collection. Am I wrong on that??
  17. You sure you still have it? he'd probably woulda gone to check if his wasn't new label. Yeah, but as I understand it, they know him at that grading place. Maybe he could get a rush job on a re-holder ....
