    Economy - 9 cards

    Shipped to CGC - 4/10/24

    Received - 4/18/24

No movement at all. How long should I expect until moved to scheduled for grading?

Be prepared to wait a long while. Seems a bit random when it moves to Scheduled for Grading, but even then I would guess the order will take 30-40 working days to finish, so won't see it until early June. Unless you're one of the lucky ones that moves fast out of nowhere.

First time submitting and it seems like things are a bit of a mess right now but I was curious if anyone has any insight on how long it takes to go from received to scheduled for grading. My order was received 2 weeks ago but no update since then. Just curious if anyone is in a similar boad and has done this before

It seems to vary a bit, but when it does go to SFG, be prepared to wait quite a bit. My economy order is now on day 32,, so over even the revised TATs. Usually once your order gets to grading, it's only a few days to get it back. The received and SFG statuses are always the longest wait for me.

    Package sent March 4

Showed up at facility march 8

    marked as recieved  march 15

scheduled for grading April 11 and has been stuck on that ever since.

pretty pathetic CGC.. I sent a submission to PSA at the exact same time. I received my submission from PSA back to me a few weeks ago.

Send them a message or give them a call. I think the more of us that bring this up the better. And it seems to be everyone's orders. Someone on a Discord today posted an Express order (Listed TAT of 3 days) that was on day 10 and still marked at received.

  4. I will keep calling and messaging at day 21. I realize the TATs are an estimate, but missing them for basically every Economy order in this thread is terrible customer service. Especially when you are at 30+ days. Revise the TAT if you can't meet it.

Only reason I keep using them is they are more lax on their GEM MINT 10s, so you can throw them cards that are between a 9 and 10 at PSA. Those 10s don't get PSA 10 prices, but they do get more than PSA 9s. Also, the pristine 10s for some cards are worth it. Other than that, CGC has lost their edge to PSA, especially since PSA is now consistently BEATING their stated TATs by weeks.

May be waiting even long I am still waiting on an Economy order marked received 2/20. Im almost on 30 business days and it’s still been in Scheduled for Grading for a while now. I don’t think we have ever been close to that 20 day estimate any time recently.

Message them on IG. Mine finished in 3 days after they acknowledged it was behind schedule. I am also a proponent of (politely) letting them know they aren't meeting their TATs. They either need to revise or move a bit quicker.

Surprising for the express Turn around! I had 2 recently that were done within the 3 day time frame. My economy did take 25 business days (after received). I do have another economy that's on day 18 so I'm curious to see if it lines up with their TAT now.

I message them on IG and it suddenly went to Grading on Day 23, but still not finished, of course.

  7. I have a bulk order that arrived (per USPS) on 12/21, but wasn't received at CGC until 1/2. Then Scheduled for Grading on 1/12ish. Been that way ever since.

If there are any CGC employees reading this, you all are absolutely getting torched by PSA at the moment on turnarounds. Cards I had earmarked for CGC are now going to PSA. You're looking at losing market share as you industry advantage on turnaround has evaporated. Might want to speed things up, but that is just my 2 cents.
