Which ones?

Go for the Mythos Fett. The Exclusive is still available at SS and I believe they're 1/5 scale. It's almost a guarantee SS will do another 1/4 premium format. Another Vader PF is on the way for ESB.

They're comparable to Bowen in scale and price. I like the sculpts but don't like the fact that they're made out of PVC. Their more expensive fine arts line are made out of resin. The venom and spiderman are awesome, but 1/6 scale when you can spend a little more for a 1/5 or 1/4 SS. I'll give it to kotobukiya though, their paint apps are pretty close to the promos.

It all depends on the character ie a 1/4 predator is much larger than a 1/4 spiderman. Most 1/6 figures range around 12 inches. Sideshow's premium formats are usually 1/4 scale with mixed media. Sideshow's comiquettes are usually 1/5 scale with a few in the 1/4 size ie the original spiderman comiquette. Aside from their life size pieces there is also the legendary scale figures that are suppose to be 1/2 scale but they've gotten some lately about their scaling because the wolf 1/2 predator ended up being smaller than obiwan and wolverine.

Also some pieces with a low edition size have a higher likelihood of increasing in value. However premium characters usually command a higher number nowadays I.e. batman pf ex has an edition size of 2000. A lot of sideshow's older statues had lower ES, better exclusives, and/or better variants. On a side note a lot of their older statues were recasted and a ton of knockoffs plague ebay due to demand.

I prefer the sculpt of the short eared one, but wish it was forward facing. The long ear is slowly growing on me.

My SS Batman finally came in. This thing is massive. I was going to display him with Spider-Man but the shelving is too small. Sorry for the crappy pictures.

Anyone going to image expo in January?

I picked up both the PS4 and Xbox One. The PS4 as a system is greatly improved over the ps3. The controller alone is amazing. I picked up Knack, Killzone, AC 4, and Lego Marvel. Knack is fun and is your typical action/adventure game from 15 years ago with awesome graphics that give a pixar feel. AC4 and Killzone have been amazing so far, but I haven't really out more than a few hours into them. For xbox i picked up BF4, COD Ghost, and dead rising 3. Also killer instinct is included but feels unfinished. However it is free. Dead rising alone was the main reason I bought the xbox. With the xbox I cant stand the dashboard. That's probably because I can't stand windows 8 and this uses the same tile system. Installing a game takes about 10-15 mins. Some games you can play mid install but they're limited. With the ps4 I can start playing roughly 15 seconds into an install with some functionality limited too such as mutiplayer. I play the xbox significantly more, but that is mainly because everyone on my gaming friend list has an xbox versus a dozen or so on PSN. Also i am extremely addicted to achievements over trophies (apprx 140k). I prefer FPS on xbox because of the offset sticks. Right now I prefer the xbox launch games over the PS4. However as a system I prefer the PS4 over the xbox.

The #1 reprint in color was a neat idea. However this series doesn't need color. When I went through the reprint it just didn't feel right.

the only thing I got out of the last 10 pages is that Jeff is Otis.

I haven't played a splinter cell game since pandora tomorrow on the original xbox, but when I heard they changed the voice actor I wasn't too interested in getting back into the series. Is it still a stealth game or full out action?
