Did anybody catch "comic book men " where they were holding a detective 27 the other night

My friend just had his AF15 graded at Philly last weekend, he was worried it would come back with a PLOD, his guess was 4 to 4.5, I thought it looked like a 5 to 5.5. I was closer it came back a 6.0. Now he wishes he would have listened to me years ago and had it graded, the grading fee wouldn't have been as much.

last week a 1.8 sold for 6,750.00 then tack on the 18% buyers premium for a total of 7,965.00

Same here., book arived today with the same 1/2 Spidey 1/2 Peter Parker sketch. Mine is # 49. What edition number did you get with you particular sketch?

I'd like to have some stuff displayed around the house, but with the little grandchildren coming over they would be after everything. When we move into our current home I built a room in the basement, I keep the door closed when they come over.My wife is good about me collecting. She goes to the cons with me and was cool about me getting my Bowen bronze Spider-man statue recently. Although I did get some criticism when I hung my Spider-man clock in our bedroom, Maybe it was because it was the first thing to be hung.

I posted to quick and didn't get to compliment you on the nice display and good use of space. Now I can show my wife what all the other wives let their husbands display around the house. Lon

Im going to have to get in on this, mine is one of the 9.4 SS. Sorry I don't have a pic to post. I didn't spend the extra dollar to have the pic taken by CGC when the book was graded,( Im still kicking myself) So next time I get t out of it's secure storage location, I'll take a pic and upload it. Til then we'll have to watch what these two bring when the hammer falls.
