  1. Friday was ok , it seemed better than Thursday, Saturday will probably be pushing thru aisles
  2. I saw that Sam Raimi is there Thursday for a panel, has anyone heard if he will doing any autographs?
  3. Sorry couldn’t resist , but anyway good luck with getting this resolved
  4. Call J. G. Wentworth, it’s your money and you want it now!
  5. They are unused pieces that were originally passed over. Here’s a link to jpg.s https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Hidden_Gem_Variants
  6. They were at booth 2522 in 2015 -17 and last year it was 2527 , sorry I don’t have any numbers for artists alley, chances are they will be in the same area
  7. I was at SDCC last year , got in the show when it opened along with everyone that had a regular badge (I had a retailers badge) and the people working JSC’s booth wouldn’t sell me any of the exclusive books because I had a retailers badge, they said come back in an hour. I said my badge didn’t get me in any earlier to beat the line, I waited like everyone else. They said sorry but that’s our policy. Note ,I had a retailers badge not a dealer badge.
  8. Definitely not, someone sent $2,000.00 to my wife to use toward expenses on a memorial for a friend ,in a plain mailer signature required and usps just left it in the mailbox .
  9. Wow, I totally forgot about that one, sad to say the link doesn’t take you to the article anymore
  10. The AF 15 was purchased from a shop in Boyertown Pennsylvania .Itwas mentioned in the local newspaper that the chamber of Commerce got a letter from the producers asking something like if they knew of anyone interesting in the area that might have some stuff for sale and they directed the pickers to the guy on the show. There was a thread on the board talking about this when the show came out and if I remember correctly somebody posted what the book sold for and what grade it was
  11. I saw this before, it's a clock made out of a poster, the poster is laminated to 1/4" foam board, it's cut with a scroll saw to the desired shape, a clock kit is fastened and they are finished with some type of acrylic clear coat ( like the stuff they put on bar tops) I have one made out of a different poster. I got mine at a local comic shop in 1990
  12. The last time I saw a clock made out of that poster was at beachhead comics, about thirty years ago
  13. If Peggy's still in shield and they were together how could they keep Steve's existence a secret all those years , even if she quit Shield they would have to go somewhere really remote to avoid contact with current and past Shield agents
  14. Didn't Howard Stark present Cap with the shield and say we made a few of these? If so Steve could have took one of the extras and gave it to Sam and it wouldn't affect the timeline
  15. And as it goes up in value, so does the grading fee
  16. I heard that Marvel was giving some original art away at some of the panels at the show. Did anyone hear what pages they gave away?
  17. Thanks for the information, all I found was pics of the 58 issues of the titans. I didn't find anything thing on Spidey.
  18. I somehow acquired these two pieces back in 70's and totally forgot about them. The Captain marvel piece is marked the titans #14 on the front in pen and the back with a copyright vol 1 issue 14. The fantastic four has a stamp filled in with Spidey 174 and the copyright just has a 1976 date vol 1 number 174 British issue. Which doesn't make any sense I'm guessing these were never used, but I figured someone here might have some knowledge , thanks
  19. Doesn't the barcode normally indicate the printing? With 431 normally meaning issue 4 , third cover, first print?
  20. It's a first print of the second printing. LOL (well someone had to say it )
