  1. It's all a part of the Circle of Life. And Tarzan is on the top of the food chain
  2. Very nice Steve Thanks...and a belated welcome to the Boards! The 3 HUMOR books that you see here were sold last week for $18,000 to one of the Countires top Platinum Age collectors.(private sale). The only other known set is in the Geppi Musuem. The Mickey Mouse BLB will be buried with me when the time comes Steve Well thank you for the warm welcome! Thats a pretty lucky guy.....those are some awesome key books....the condition on that Bob Scully is insane...any resto? I love the Mickey BLB as well !
  3. Well that is one hell of a contribution Whats the grade on it? hello all... it appears pretty darn nice ... Matt nelson is replacing a piece on the back cover, so let's call it a soon to be apparent fn/vf...I initially committed to it "unrestored" (with piece out of back cover ,but the front presenting so nice) and wanted the seller to send to Matt or CGC to check for trimming....they found a spine split sealed that the owner was unaware of...so, since it had some minor resto already, I asked Matt to fill the piece in on the back cover, and touch up a little here and there...already looks great, now will look even better! thanks rick Well good luck with the resto...im sure Matt will do a great job...make sure to post scans after you get it back
  4. I saw that copy & wondered if a board member would grab it. Nice New Adventure pick-ups. I also bought those three issues within the last few months. I feel I got a pretty good deal on it.....I hope when I send it to CGC it comes back blue. You never know with ebay. Its kinda funny I was just going back through the new adventure/adventure thread and noticed that you had just got those three books as well. What are the odds on that?

  12. I couldn't agree with you more on the polygraph....awesome cover too....not to mention if a polygraph can't even work on wonder women herself how can it work on government employees
  13. Stunning book Steve. Just like the rest of your magnificent collection, a portion of which you were kind enough to let me ogle in person a couple of weeks ago. I've never seen so many white-paged beauties. I’m just getting started with my adventure comic’s collection and at 22 I am a little intimidated looking at all these beautiful books..... At the same time though its a real inspiration to see that such great collections. I hope the younger generations don't get too obsessed with the silver age and still have love for the glory of the golden age....I know I do Thanks for posting all the awesome scans...keep them coming guys!!!!!
