  1. A big thanks and kudos to Phil (towards2112) for a nice batch of Marvel Bronze Age comics that were graded dead on. Thanks! Mike
  2. I'll be selling a number of Golden Age mostly crime and western related comics from the late 1940's to early 1950's in a short while. Mike
  3. Does that mean you weren't happy with the grades on those or does that mean you had these pre-screened and ARE happy with them?
  4. Kudos to Shootydog for a nice batch of FF comics and a few nice freebies. Thanks! Mike
  5. I'll be listing a number of misc. DC comics from the 60's and 70's shortly including an almost complete run of Mister Miracle. Also Aquaman, Atom, Brave and The Bold, Flash, Metal Men, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen.
  6. Would anyone have any definite interest if I listed a bunch of Marvel Team-Up issues? I have an almost full long-box for sale between issues #5 and #149 that range anywhere from Good to Near Mint+ with most issues from #5 to #99 being in the VG to VF range while issues from #100 and up are almost all in the VF/NM to NM+ range.
  7. It's only been 13 days since he was supposed to have shipped the book to you. Besides the fact that the rules of this thread allow a longer period than that before someone gets put on the probation list, I think it's also a little quick for you to start saying no one should buy from him. So what's the deal? 13 days with no communication would rank at best crappy service...i.e., if you were going on vacation or whatever you would PM the buyers before leaving so everyone knew the score...why isn't anyone saying what the deal is??? TR.....the seller (tablism) has reported back that the comic was found at his local post office this morning. Something about him screwing up and not adding my address at the automatic mailing machine at the post office. It will supposedly arrive tomorrow via overnight Express Mail. I'll let all of you know if it actually gets here tomorrow. Mike UPDATE: All is well. I just went to the post office to ship some comics and as soon as Deb saw me she said "Hey, I have an express package for you." So after I was done inside and went out to the car, I opened the box and there was the Spider-Man #1 CGC 9.8 Gold Edition from Chris. So he followed through on what he stated on Thursday and Friday. Thanks for completing the transaction and it's unfortunate the way the whole thing worked out. Mike P.S. Chris - you were wrong. You DID add a freebie in there - a Spider-Man #1 Green Edition. Thanks!

  9. I bought and paid for a Spider-Man #1 CGC 9.8 Gold Edition from tablism here on the boards a few weeks ago. He of course doesn't accept Paypal so I sent him a money order. He acknowledged receiving the money order through PM and said he was shipping it out on Friday, July 11th but here it is 13 days later and it still hasn't arrived. He was supposed to ship it via Priority Mail box with insurance so it should have arrived long before now. I've sent him 2 PM's about this and he of course hasn't read either one of them (deliberately I imagine) and won't respond in any way. So I would recommend not buying anything from tablism here on the boards or anywhere else. Mike
  10. Here are the latest additions to my double cover family: Chilling Adventures In Sorcery #2 Hardcase #1 Ka-Zar #15 Phantom Zone #1
  11. I recently purchased a Ka-Zar #15 double cover in about VF-NM and a Hardcase #1 double cover in NM off of eBay and got both pretty cheap. And tonight, while I was grading some comics from a collection I bought about a month ago, I came across a Phantom Zone #1 (DC, 1982) double cover in about VF-NM. I'll try to remember to post pictures tomorrow. Mike

  15. Here's a few nice ones back fresh from CGC:
  16. Here's an interest double cover issue. A Detective Comics #349 but with a mis-wrapped interior cover.
  17. Probably applying glue to the outside cover to make it stick to the inside cover.
  18. Kudos to GACollectibles for 4 sweet Bronze Age Marvel comics! Mike
  19. Hello again boys and girls. It's time for another Forums Only sales thread as I've done way too much buying lately and not enough selling. This time around I'll be listing a wide variety of comics including Marvels, DC's, Archies, Charltons, Dells, Gold Keys, Harveys and miscellaneous other titles. I just purchased a few thousand Bronze and Copper Age Marvels in high grade and I will be posting many of those as well. Keep an eye on this sales thread as you never know what I'll be listing next. Postings will start shortly..... Mike
