  1. The latest additions to my Whitman rare and scarce collections. I picked all 3 of these up from one eBay seller for a nice price. All 3 in nice shape.
  2. I am hereby officially nominating BetterRunCharles for the Probation List for failure to follow through on the purchase of a Fantastic Four #48 CGC 5.5 Signature Series signed by Stan Lee. He originally contacted me through PM on Aug. 6th with an offer for it. I notified him on Aug. 7th that my customer had agreed to his offer price (he read that PM). The agreement was that he was supposed to mail a money order to my customer but my customer never received the money order. I sent BetterRunCharles another PM on Aug. 18th asking why the money order hadn't been sent yet. He has not read that PM nor responded to it in any way. I just sent him a separate PM notifying him that he was being nominated for the Probation List.
  3. In eBay, under "account" then "site preferences", then "buyer requirements", then "edit", down at the bottom you can set it to block any messages from buyers you have blocked. I did this but he still able to send... Call eBay. HE'S the one doing the harrassing.
  4. Remember, people on the boards have recieved notices from the police for there posts from at least one "comic" dealer. Just make sure what you say is accurate. (Thumbs u Well, I just perused the last 4 pages of this thread, and other than one boardie refering to him as a "fool", not one thing derogatory has been said about the guy. He's getting his panties all in a bunch over nothing.
  5. Man, is he ever pulling at straws.
  6. Have you ever known the mods to issue a strike against someone who complained about a particular eBay seller/buyer in this thread? I sincerely doubt that has EVER happened. Someone prove me wrong.
  7. Just like other people here have stated, I took one look at those new DC 3-D covers and immediately said to myself "Nope! Not going THERE again!"
  8. OK...I'll bite. And why pray tell is that?
  9. It's a very easy place to stop because of the renumbering, I haven't bought anything past #441 for my collection either. I know some people out there will think I am crazy for saying this, but for me there is no point in collecting anything beyond McFarlane's run on ASM. You're crazy for saying that. Is there really anything between 328 and 441 that you need to own? I am not saying there's nothing worth reading, I am saying that in my opinion there's not really anything worth collecting in the last 25 years. Yes, the first appearance of Carnage might be the exception. Still, that leaves the last 23 years. I guess I'm just old school. #344,361,400,408 Variant, 430,431,432 Variant......and that's just up to #441.
  10. Check out the final prices on these two auctions. The VG went for more than the NM-/NM copy.
  11. And here I thought they always said "aboat".
  12. I'm still in awe of the fact that 60-something year old comic books can still get 9.6 or 9.8 grades. Utterly amazing.
  13. That's insane. Interesting that it appears the NM copy is cropped smaller than the VG. I don't think it's a case of it being wrapped differently because it looks like the same amount of art is showing on the left. The VG copy only has one day left whereas the NM copy has almost 4 days left. That probably has something to do with the lack of bids so far on the NM copy.
  14. He's only posted on the boards 3 times this year. Twice in April and the last one was on May 1st.
  15. Grit was actually a newspaper. I used to sell them in my neighborhood when I was a kid back in the 60s. I see later on it became a magazine. (thumbs u
