  1. I just noticed that GPA doesn't even reference the 1992 reprint (it does for the 1987 and 1988 reprints). Anyone know what's up with that?
  2. Not probably the same seller. IS the same seller....clearly! If you haven't already done so, I would contact eBay directly about his listing with a link to his sales thread here on the chatboards. And file that Paypal claim as soon as you can.
  3. I can't get either link to work. Sales thread eBay listing Despite the appearance of bad faith on the seller's part, I think the 30 day rule is still in effect, yes? If he's got an open auction on ebay for stuff he already sold here, I'd say that's a problem. Maybe he has more than one, who knows? But it's worth worrying over and getting an answer to. Yes I agree completely. I was just thinking of the PL technicalities. I think the item is one of a kind, I don't know much about statues, but it has a number, and that suggests there is only one. The board sale clearly stated #2099. The eBay sale shows the box where it clearly shows #2099 out of 6000 from a zero feedback seller where the seller name clearly matches the seller's actual name. Guy's a crook! Hang him!
  4. That's probably too high. With some shopping around you can get them for less than that. No way, especially if they are VF/NM or NM. #22 alone will pull that. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1&_from=R40|R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=miracleman+22&_sop=13 Vintage Stock is running a BOGO sale next weekend. The particular store that has these is about 25 miles from my house. If I get time, I may run back and pick up the Miracleman #18,19 and 22 since they would end up being only $7.50 each next weekend.
  5. I think those prices are just about right for NM-, just a touch high (but you save on shipping and can examine condition personally). If you want flip, probably not a great buy. If you want those comics for your collection, I wouldn't feel dumb buying at $15 per. Maybe get all 4 for $40 or $45? Thanks for the info. Thinking flip. The #18,19 and 22 are 9.0/9.2 copies but the #17 is a 9.4/9.6 copy so I'm going to grab that one. (thumbs u yah for 17 its possible to realize between 15 to 25 I think maybe? but I don't know if its a sure thing. If you're a power seller on the bay or you catch the right buyer here it might be worth it. 17 & 19 are super common too. Patrick I went ahead and bought the #17. I may submit it if I think it has a better than average chance of garnering a 9.6. Last one sold for $69.00. I'm screwed if it gets a 9.4.
  6. Anybody here need a Four Color #164 (Bugs Bunny Finds the Frozen Kingdom) or a Four Color #194 (Mickey Mouse in The World Under the Sea)? I don't have them in hand yet but should have them by end of next week. Let me know via PM if interested.

  8. Not sure if I should ask this in Copper or Modern, but how hard is it to find the later issues of the Eclipse 1985 series of Miracleman? They have copies of #17,18,19 and 22 here at $15.00 each at a local Vintage Stock store.
  9. Interesting..... It would be neat if some of those survived. So were the annuals poly-bagged or just placed loose in a bag?
  10. Well, you guys really don't pay much attention to the Market David, That's exactly what I looked at when I made my comment. Your sale was for a 9.4 copy. All of those high dollar sales are for slabs, Signature Series slabs, higher grade copies and multiple copies of that book or other annuals. Go down towards the bottom of that list and you'll see all of the single issues selling in the $10-$25 range.
  11. A $14 sale of an ASM Annual #21 isn't exactly heating up. That book has bringing $10-$25 for quite a long time now.
  12. She used a thin- Coke box as a sandwich? I know this was purchased through CPG, but most Amazon comic book sellers (and still a lot of eBay sellers) need to take a class in how to package comics properly.
  13. Is anyone in here familiar with board member BetterRunCharles? He agreed to purchase an FF #48 from my sales thread 14 days ago and was supposed to send a money order to my customer (it was his book). I was notified on Monday that payment hadn't been received yet. So I sent BetterRunCharles another PM on Monday asking what was going on with this. He hasn't read it yet. He only has 32 posts in here so he's on here very infrequently. It could be that he just forgot about it but he was the one who initially contacted me about the book through PM. I'm just wondering if someone on here knows him so I might be able to contact him via e-mail maybe. I know he has 30 days so I know it's not PL worthy yet. Maybe Charles already ran?
  14. Any Canadian boardies attending Fan Expo? I'd love to pick up a couple of those if one of my Canadian board buddies would be so kind. I promise I won't use the word hell. I'm going on Friday. Gonna get there really early so we get in the doors fast. Only problem is I'm with the family and they don't move as fast as me for books, so I'll do my best, but no promises... They can catch up to you. Thanks for the offer. Do what you can and let me know. (thumbs u
  15. So you haven't given him any kind of refund yet....correct?
