  1. I had a Wonder Woman #205 with a double cover but had it graded and sold it a few years ago. Nice find. (thumbs u Did they note the double cover on the label? mm Yes....CGC does note that the comic has a double cover on the label. If you decide to send it in for grading, CGC normally gives the overall grade of the book to the better cover (usually the inside cover because it's protected). If the inside cover is in great shape (the outside cover doesn't appear to be) then it might be worthwhile to have it graded. You have to decide what you want to do of course.
  2. Jeez...you are being pretty modest. incredibly while it is valued far less than Four Color #1, but is positively impossible to find. Moreover it predates FC #1 by almost a year . In fact I've never actually seen one til now..Wow! I have a copy of this issue as well, but clearly nowhere near as nice as Joe's copy I had one too but sold it on eBay a few months ago.

  4. And a VERY nice set at that! I've only had the pleasure of seeing a #1 issue in hand and that was a severely beat up copy I found at a flea market when I lived in Illinois.
  5. Barton just sold me his recently received under copy of Marvel Premiere #48 (2nd new Ant-Man). Great book, great price and well packaged. Always great working with Barton. (thumbs u
  6. not sure on the values but La Prensa tend to be sought out. They look in great condition. Overall a low demand book even in the original format so i would say its an under appreciated book in value.... from time to time i throw books on ebay just to test the market then pull the auctions down. thats my recomendation The guy who has them just posted them on eBay starting at $99.00.
  7. Anybody know what these normally sell for? Mexican or Spanish versions of Spectacular Spider-Man #1 and #2. They're not mine....was just wanting to know about approximate values.
  8. Very nice snag! Do you plan on getting them slabbed? Probably not. My "to slab pile" is pretty tall and it seems like I make very little progress on getting through it. I have that same problem. I have hundreds...maybe thousands of books I'd like to get CGC graded but I keep spending money on more raws instead of investing it in grading.
  9. You should lost this in the Whitman Appreciation thread.
  10. The trailer for the new Godzilla movie looks pretty damned good....
  11. Got another #13 last week for $4 at a shop that should know better. Seems like the further away from the city I go, the more I'm finding them. I love having a car Luckily, I already had a nice NM+ copy that will be making its way to Sarasota in the near future. I just wish I still had my #1 CGC 9.6 Signature Series that I sold a couple of years ago.
  12. I really like the cover of Batwoman #27. I wonder if CGC would denote that as a bondage cover.
  13. I grabbed 5 and I'm happy I did. When the Steampunk buzz dies down, this is still the debut of a new major character in the Batman universe. I picked up 2 of the steampunk cover and 1 copy of the regular cover. May buy more.
  14. I actually like the regular cover better than the steampunk cover.
  15. Photobucket is a great place to store all of your pictures and scans. Go to www.photobucket.com to learn more.
  16. Upload a pic to Photobucket then copy the URL from there into here.
  17. I hope you know that people make buy decisions based on what you guys post here. I hear all the variant covers for Afterlife With Archie #1 first print are picking up, as well as EoW 1-5 sets, Homeland #1 (DDP) and DC 3D covers! -slym And I just found out that X-Force #1 is now the hottest thing in comics!
