  1. Unfortunately I only have one pic of my slabbed book that I sent to a friend, when we were excited about the upcoming MCFarlane signing.I will post this along with the copy of the book,I received back!Oh,and I sent the slabbed booked to be cracked opened, signed then pressed at CCS ,then graded,it came back within 2 month time period(A Christmas miracle!). I sent in a slabbed 9.4 copy.Folks it was a solid 9.4,borderline 9.6.there was absolutely no creases, had sharp corners,no color rub.I reached out customer service, they basically have just ignored me,with no follow ups,and then when I reached out to them, they said yeah, they said,it was the same book I sent in,and you risk that grade changes anytime, you send in a booked to be cracked open.I understand that 100%,Let me reiterate,it was a solid 9.4 copy, that could have been a 9.6!! Then they proceeded to tell me that I signed a waiver, that frees them from any responsibility.Same thing at a drs office,if a surgeon butchers your operation, does not mean they are not liable. What’s even worse, was the customer service,it was just as negligent as the “professionals” that handled my book. So what do you think? Is this even the same book I sent in?Or did someone on their team do a Frankenstein butcher job!
  2. Thanks everybody for your input.I don’t feel CGC grading was the issue.I think the grading team, does an excellent job!I always write a prediction sheet, and out of the hundreds of books,I’m about 96% accurate!(up or down 1-2 points, when failing to hit on the nose)) 😀The Malibu Sun I sent in was a solid 9.4,sharp corners,no creases whatsoever,no edge wear,no color rub.It was borderline 9.6.I’m not saying grading doesn’t make mistakes, but not the case here with this particular one(if anything they were generous), @8.5 these are pics of the book I received th
  3. Hello, although I have called before and gotten through to customer service,as early as last week,I cannot seem to reach anyone by phone
  4. Well,I’m thinking its CCS pressing service, mishandling the book,a friend told me they crack it open an place it in front of artist to sign, especially with a crease on cvr, and some spine stress, which was not evident before
  5. Yeah,no worries,but just think that’s kinda odd.
  6. Hello everyone! I was really excited to send my CGC graded blue label 9.4 copy of Malibu Sun #13,to get cracked open, signed, pressed by sister company CCS,and reincapsulated! Turns out,it’s coming back an 8.5,🤣🤣.I’m not sure wether it’s Todd, being disrespectful, handling the books,or CCS,being completely average at their work. The grader notes, said light creasing on cover.Regardless of whose to blame, there’s a lack of professionalism, going on.Think about it encapsulated 9.4,they handle everything, and it comes back 8.5! Wondering,is it even my book, they r sending back! Was gonna keep this book, forever, now I’m thinking anybody want to buy a signed copy of Malibu Sun #13 CGC 8.5!!
