Turns out it is really really good.

Now its $150 per blue 9.8 slab.

Anyway, I cant believe it happened before I got an ASM #1 . Guess Im working backwards. Anyway only 2 issues left for a whole run of ASM. Go me!

Ok so after just getting back into collecting this past October (sold everything I had 3 years ago ) Here's what I have to show for 2012. My girlfriend just got me the ASM 16 for xmas and managed to get a book with White Pages to boot. Can't wait to see what next year brings!

700 is the "last" issue of "Amazing" Spider-man. But then they're releasing "Superior" Spider-man who follows a different guy (not peter) as spidey.

When they inevitably go back to Amazing, I wonder if they'll start back at #701, re number it at #1, or count the superior numbered issues.

Personally I think the move is a little

Just dealt with Lee Hester over at Lee's Comics in California to get my Amz Fantasy 15 and was extremely happy with everything from packaging, to communicaiton and grading. Would highly recommend buying from him either on ebay or his site!

Hey mac man, how was your experience with comiclink? Ive been wanting to buy from there for quite awhile but never went through with anything. Is it worth it? Also are there any buyers premium added to the sale price?

The chunk thats missing is about a 1/2 inch. Low grades are really hard to distinguish so I say it can grade either way (between a 1.8 to 2.0). And no Im not married . But my girlfriend was with me when I bought it and she actually didnt have too much of a problem with it! Ive been talking about it for months now so I guess she knew just how much that book meant to me. Ironically the two interested buyers who backed out at the last minute did so because of their wives! My shop also has an amazing spider-man #2 (4.5) that has really nice colors on the cover. He has it priced at $675 but as always haggling helps. Is that a good price though?

Thanks MAC MAN! I was able to get him down to $850, not bad for an alleged 2.0! He originally had it set up with a $1400 price tag but offered 25% off (bringing it down to 1050) for regulars such as myself. It was only a matter of luck I got him to go so low! (he had 2 fairly recent interested buyers that backed out last minute so I think he just wanted to finally get rid of the damn thing )

by the way, anyone know when the spidey omnibus vol 2 comes out?? Im dying to see some of the romita art!

My newest grail:

I finally picked this one up from my LCS and couldnt be more happy with it! It has no marvel chipping, tape, or writing on it and is a complete copy! The only thing that really detracts from it is the tattered spine.. I was able to talk him down to such a good price that I had to break the bank for this one! Now I have #1, 200- current.
