Just realized the "bulk uploader" on photobucket uploads the small pics. Sorry about that. Lesson learned.

Nice thread all. I too am normally roaming the GA forums, but this was too good to pass up. These are the issues I haven't seen posted yet. Sorry for the bad scans. My scanner doesn't like slabs and I was too lazy to take the others out of their sleeves.
-
Seriously, there could be a sub-thread just for "young couple takes moonlight stroll through graveyard". It just NEVER works out.
-
Posted this in the group shot thread but thought you guys might appreciate it as well. Some I've posted before and some aren't horror, but there you go.
-
Well it's certainly not on a par with many of the shots I've seen, but here are some cool sci-fi/horror books from the early 50's.

Thought it was a bit high. Hadn't seen numbers 11 and 13. So how is it that all of them went for exactly $537.75? If my math is right that means a bid of $450. plus BP. But all 3? That would mean at least 2 bidders with the same very high bids on all 3, correct? Very odd. Especially given that one was restored and one was 7.5 and none of the 3 were slabbed.
Shoot, I would have sold them my CGC 8.0 #12 for less than that.

Hi all - I know this is a couple of months late but can anyone tell me why this copy of Terrifying Tales #12 sold for so much more than guide?

There's a nice looking 7.0 on eBay right now for BIN $200.

Hey all - does this type of thing come along very often? Barks' estate copy of FC 189. Beat up, but pretty cool nonetheless.

I hate to scare the baby......but, you want more horror?
How about a crazy FLYING ELEPHANT!!!! AAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
That'll give you nightmares.

Hi guys - so I know this is really a Science Fiction title, but this last cover really seemed to be taking a turn to Horrorville.

Hey all - here's one you don't see every day. I like the decapitated skeleton proudly holding his head. You don't see pride like that every day.

Hey all - been a while. Speaking of Everett, I was looking through the new guide and noticed that Venus #'s 17-19 jumped HUGE from 2007 to 2008. I know a lot of the pricing is subjective, but this was a jump of better than 32% on a fine copy. Pretty rare to see movement like that year over year (especially on mid grade copies). Any idea why this is?

Dug through my stack and I actually have one of those books from the top 10 want list. It's only 5.0 but presents pretty well I think.

Hi all - looking for some help and saw that there was some conversation on pulps on this board. I've got these pulps from my dad and have no idea how to research what they are worth, etc. as there doesn't seem to be any formal guide for pulps (ie Overstreet). Is there a resource for researching these books? Any help is appreciated - thx.

What you don't understand is that chubby cheeks & freckles scared the out of Ditko

CGC just finished up with these 2. Unfortunately, the bottom right FC of the Venus had a chip hanging by a thread that CGC called and said probably would come off during prescreen. Oh well.
You should have taped it on
I was going to staple it on but I don't have any vintage staples.
