  1. Sorry for the long wait. .Just got this back. C&P which helped a lot. Smudge on back still there but better. Dents gone. CGC 5.0 I'm a happy camper.
  2. I have a couple recently slabbed CGC 8.0/8.5. Bought them new in 1977 for a dollar. Yeah I'm old.
  3. So Heritage shows a Dec.12th 2021 auction of Cerebus #1 CGC 7.5 closed at $7500.
  4. Their website says: "ComicBase prices are actual reports of live market data from over 2 million verified market transactions from Atomic Avenue, as well as auction sales data from Heritage Auction Galleries. These prices are updated each week, reflecting successful sales and seller pricing." fwiw.
  5. I watch prices on ComicBase software which updates weekly based on auctions etc. Cerebus #1 (CGC 7.0) sat around $800 all last year til December. Now its climbed to $4500.
  6. I'm not a Black Cat but I have a couple dozen early Cerebus (1 thru 25). I have lurked this board recently trying to get insight/news. I have a few questions. Any idea why the #1 has rocketed up since December? Has this happened before with Cerebus? With so few issues out there to trade is it just as likely to freefall back below $1000. Not complaining, more like amazed.
  7. Wow, still a great book at any grade. That's about half what I spent on my first car back then. A dollar was money.
  8. I poured my spending money into a pile of tired looking TOS and much better looking Iron Man comics. Just buying them cuz I liked them. Crazy kid. Who knew?
  9. Thanks guys! 4.0 was my floor but I'm new to grading. This forum is such a training resource and fun at the same time. I'm going to get it screened for C+P. That big stain on the back seems like old grime. In any case I'm very happy.
  10. This is my first post. Please be gentle... Bought this in 1982 for $100. I plan to slab. I'm feeling my way through the process. I've sent in a few book to learn how it goes. Appreciate any thoughts/comments.
