  1. Bomb proof packing.Timely delivery.Awesome deal on a DD 1 and tales of suspense 31. Thanks again Dennis
  2. E-man was a pretty good title, especially with the Rog 2000 back-ups stories. What I can't figure out is why it was cancelled so soon. Did Stanton jump off the title or something? How those Charlton monster books all lasted so long and E-man was cancelled is confusing. Were e-man a marvel or DC title it probably would have lasted 40 more issues. I've also decided I like a lot of the Yang covers. the insides not so much. Those Rog 2000 were super cool. Some of Brynes early work.
  3. Not me. You were always this grumpy? You need to ask? I am not grumpy. Go to hell... the both of you.
  4. Yeah, I would... I am not, repeat NOT, a Ditko fan. +1 I can't stand Ditko or Kirby. Evel told me they were his favorite artists
  5. If we had only known. It seems there is always next year.
  6. Yes. Info please (thumbs u There have been 4 Art of Dave Stevens sketch books limited to either 1,200 or 1,500 and signed and numbered by Dave. There's a San Diego Variant Art of Dave Stevens "Complete Sketches and Studies" limited to 300 copies, but it was put out after his passing so, obviously, not signed...just limited. There's a regular version of that book. There's a signed and numbered slip case edition of "Brush with Passion: The Art of Life of Dave Stevens" which he was signing up until his untimely passing, there are less of those than there should be because he didn't get to them all. That's a few of them. I was hoping you would stumble across our little chat and deal with this. I thought of you while I was typing. Thanks Chris! What kind of price range am I looking at for the brush with passion? I'd have to check. It's got a nice leather slip case, yada yada, so it's gone pretty high. Last time I looked they were $400 or so. I want to say it was $200 retail when it came out but I can't remember. I actually bought one from Bud Plant. Of course.Greggy has everything cool And thanks for the help

  8. Does a Dave Stevens art book exist?Maybe even a signed and numbered edition?
  9. There could be wisdom in this here post. Roy, who wished he started the whole talking in the 3rd person thing. Roy, Stu did not harrass Nick the way he did me, and many ,including Nick, knows this. There is a TON of less-than-forthrightness here in this Thread, but trust me, this is a big battle and the stakes are high for some of us. For me to concede is to let Stu and his anti-CGCers carry the day. CAL makes his stand Cal, Life is too short.Go to any other chat board and you can find Stus negative posts about me.I just let it go and got on with my life.Maybe you could try the same Dennis who is a friend of Cals
  10. Well, it took more than a day. One to scan, one to resize, and now to post. I'm also in the middle of a job search so I only work on this in the evenings. 14. Thank you very much, Michael. I really appreciate the encouragement. So what is your collecting goal?X-men 1-66?How far along are you? Well, I have X-Men 1-66 complete. However, the grades on some issues aren't quite what I want yet. I would like to get issues 21 - 66 above 9.0 as much as possible. I currently have 11 of those issues in 8.5 or 9.0 that I would like to get in 9.2 - 9.6 . I would also like to get issues 2-10 at 8.0 and above. I now have 3 issues in this range I would like to upgrade. My #1 is a 6.0 and I would like to upgrade that but the prices are getting so high - it's getting very difficult. And, of course, it's not about buying a label. There are some books out there that just aren't the right book due to some defect that I don't care for. That really inpressive.Keep it up!

  17. Woah! That friggin rocks! Awesome drawing Matthew. This cover design is perfect for the Shiverbones update. I love these Black Cat horror issues and am putting together the run of them myself. Great books! Picked it up from the post office today. INCREDIBLE in person. Matt went above and beyond with his attention to detail I posted several larger detail scans in my CAF WOW.That is so nice.Saying he hit it out of the park is a vast understatement!
