I agree, Arch --- but with an added suggestion. Currently, we are unable to edit a post that is more than 3 days old. This makes it impossible to mark a book "sold" or "price reduced" after that time period. If this edit-ability could be extended to 1 week, then no seller would feel the need to re-boot by consolidating into a new sales thread. Just a thought . . . Exactly, I feel the same way. It helps when you don't have to update the leftovers in a new thread.

Did the check cleared at all? A bank will tell you if it did or not.

If I were you, I would send another check. One time I sent a M.O. and the seller says he didn't receive them. Without waiting any longer, I sent another M.O. and he got it. I saved the receipts on the first M.O. to see if it cleared, it didn't. Even one year later, it still didn't clear just to see if it was lost. October did communicate well as you do.

I think there's a 2 day time limit for the edit function to stay thereafter that post is made, after that, it's locked. Best you can do is, start a new thread with updated stuff from that previous thread.
