I was thinking 2.5 and I agree a C&P would probably help with eye appeal, but likely not the grade. Maybe a 3.0 if all went very well?

Thanks for looking. I am not sure what effect water damage will have on grade. There is a water stain on back cover and it seems to have affected the inside of front and back covers plus the page opposite of each. Additionally almost 40 years ago when removing it from the bag, the tape got caught on the cover and it is still there as pulling it off was tearing the cover. So all in all not great. Any thoughts on grade are appreciated.

There is a CGC 9.8 on eBay currently highest $ ask for sale  and I see the same gray spots on spine, by price and on Spidey's face so can this possibly not be soiling and actually a printing ink error?

Please share your opinion as to grade as of now and with a C&P. Several issues I am not sure about. On back cover a blue line which I think is from printing but not sure and on front cover along spine seems to be some gray spots which may also be printing ink as well as what appears to be another printing ink error on and to the left of the issue #/price area and on Spidey's face bottom left cover. I saw the same gray marks on a CGC 9.8, in same places so hoping printing ink and no grade deduction.

Is it possible the top of the cover has been trimmed? I'm certainly no expert and seems like an odd book to bother trimming, but the top where it says Master of the Mystic arts sure looks a little off to me.

Hi and thanks for taking a look at this Doctor Strange 169. Hardest books for me to grade are ones like this. Overall presents well except for the one big standout flaw. How much does the piece missing at the top affect grade? Thanks. Sorry only 2 pics.

HI all. Thinking of buying. Sorry but only 2 pics. Guy won't post more but says everything complete, interior fine no rips or tears. Being a bit difficult, but what are you gonna' do? Any thoughts on grade appreciated as I want to make a quick decision. Thanks!
