  1. $576,000 with juice for the Action #1 restored A-3 8.0 !!!! Wow !
  2. All interest is (obviously) on the 8.5 Kansas City Action #1 and it's multi-million dollar hammer price ............... Action #1 mod-restored 8.0 is over $330K with juice ---- any guesses where this will end / should end at ? Can it hit $500K with juice ?
  3. a very nice-presenting 3.5 coming up on C-Link
  4. Many of those books were sitting in the collections of people with undue influence in the hobby—people whose support CGC needed in order to succeed in the early days this ....... back then and even now I believe (Promise grading anyone ?)
  5. I respectfully disagree -- this page is killer and I think it will go north of $150K .........
  6. Talk about needing this so bad !!!! But what I'd have to sell to get it would be VERY painful....
  7. I think $100K right on ..... no more or less ..... but very early Spidey with Kirby pencils and Ditko inks must be 6 figures in my book .....
  8. Agree ? Disagree ? Let's just say that I so HOPE that your theory is correct, I would tend to think that OA will grow in desirability as it is truly "One-of-One"
  9. just awesome to see !! Mine is enslaved in a slab and I haven't seen real insides for a while - Thanks !

  11. Just shows the unpredictable nature of auctions .... it takes at least two to tango and to push a book to a higher hammer price ..... the $49K is definitely lower than one would expect in Feb 2024 though .........
  12. C'mon !!!! 9.8 !!!!!! That's in sane !!
  13. And they would have needed to be, or today would be, in a separate adult-only section out of sight from kids ...... just some of those covers alone (again, I have several and I love them) are very graphic
