  1. New pics. This one will go to Doug at CLink on Monday if it doesn't sell here! Have a great weekend! .
  2. Amazing Spider-Man 96 CGC 9.4 OWW $800, shipped via USPS Priority box within the US. First take in the thread wins the book. US buyers only. Check, money order. No Paypal. No disreputable folks. No returns on CGC books.
  3. The relevant Marvels questions: 1. Will it be entertaining? 2. Will Brie Larson be entertaining? 3. Will it be profitable? 4. Will it right the MCU ship? 5. Will it demonstrate diversity? 6. Will it mistreat the male heroes? 7. Will it expand the MCU fan demographic? 8. Will it mistreat the traditional MCU fan demographic? 9. Will it help or harm comics values? 10. Crack.
  4. I'm pretty sure the only Gunn films I've seen have been GOTG1 & 2 & the holiday special. GOTG1 might be my fav MCU film. Ironically, its tone helped send the MCU into its eventual death spiral. GOTG2 was a waste of time. The holiday special was so so. There's no reason to think 3 will be a winner at this point.
  5. There've been so many jumping off points since Black Widow. Disney has been prolific with quality jumping off points.
  6. I thought it was a decent mid-grade MCU film. I too never understood the fuss.
  7. Fair enough. Thanks for the post.
  8. Entertainment isn't profitable nor entertaining when it's an angry social lecture. Once an entertainer decides the angry social lecture matters most, they should enter politics & revist entertaining some other day.
  9. Great list. I'm a fanboy for them all. The destruction of these characters & the cinematic universe they share with all the other characters began with the MCU's Black Widow in 2021.
  10. This is the most accurate statement I've yet read. I hope it works out for Marvel. I think I'm done with the MCU until there's real FF & X-Men promise on the horizon, until they return to entertainment, not social theory or whatever is motivating this angry swill. Is it really wise to select a trailer tune due to some sort of obscure, academic social theory about women & their smiles? Or to challenge fans a la She-Hulk? As I've said before, She-Hulk defines today's MCU. It sums it all up, nicely. The MCU is at war with itself, and with its fans. Black Widow forward has killed a dyed in the wool Marvel Zombie, even with such goodness as WWBN & most of WandaVision [despite an obsequious English butler playing Vision].
  11. While not a soul under 30 knows the Beasties, I appreciate the GenX tune. At least it isn't the ubiquitous A&R radio 70's classic rock redub or friggin GOTG yacht rock.
  12. I'm not surprised they don't read something. I am surprised they do. I'd like to know why they read Manga. I reckon a topic for another thread or for CG.
  13. My fav DC character. This is the only currently announced superhero movie with promise. Before MCU P4, I thought they all had promise.
  14. I hope you like it. I hope it's good & a success. To me, it seems like it'll do nothing to help the current state of MCU affairs, and may very well harm it.
