  1. I see your point. It does get a bit confusing [this is part of what makes the Hulk a compelling character]. What I mean is everything Banner/Hulk from Hulk getting defeated by Thanos forward.
  2. Nu-Disney neutered HULK for social reasons, not dramatic. Ruffalo HULK is a social statement or activism. Doing so contributed to bad writing. There is no mystery here.
  3. Why does Nu-Disney prefer Ruffalo Hulk?
  4. While I didn't see that FF film, your post is logical & agreeable. The bit I like the most is the bit I highlighted. Instead of all this multiverse handwringing [which is what it is: it is creative anxiety over how to account for mutants & the FF so late in the MCU game. This anxiety must be enormous considering the price Disney paid for FOX], Disney could've bought some creative planning time after End Game & done a WW2 prequel with Cap [recast or otherwise; Evans is still youthful, I think], Namor, & a recast [but still black or even gender swapped. &c., Fury]. Having a black WW2 Fury adds drama to the writing & isn't merely box-checking diversity for diversity's sake.
  5. Can diversity for the sake of diversity or the elevation of women through the diminishment of men ever contribute to bad writing? Or do you draw a hard line here?
  6. Not as embarrassingly bad as Ruffalo Hulk.
  7. Ruffalo Hulk aka Smart Hulk is the worst character or actor character combination in the history of cinema.
  8. At least three characters have undergone bodily changes. Nebula's bodily changes have been noted above. GROOT's bodily changes were on display in the Christmas Special. I believe Gunn addressed them in a tweet. Star Lord's new body is the most obvious in the poster. His body has gone from the bulked-up -- partially chubby -- body of the previous films to a skinny teenage nerd's physique. I'm not sure what this all means. I'm not going to find out. I am boycotting this swill until the public apology to the fans from Fiege & the franchise-wide reboot.
  9. Without toxic creatives & toxic producers there are no toxic fans. Disney+ cancelled. There's too much money on the line for the toxic creatives & toxic producers to continue. Things will change. It'll just take a few years. I hope to reup one day. Sincerely, Marvel Zombie Tupenny
  10. I suppose they needed streaming content & had contracts to honor [pay or play contracts?]. An alternative approach to all of this post-Endgame mess could've been to hang fire for a couple years [didn't that work well for Game of Thrones & Stranger Things?] & then explode out of the gate with a screen version of Silver Surfer 4, followed 6-8 months later by HULK vs Wolverine, & followed shortly after that by a WW2 epic with Cap, Namor, & the OG Torch. So much money in that trifecta of obvious tales. The fourth film for the grand slam could've been Galactus on Earth. There must've been some clever retcon way they could've introduced the FF & X-Men [eg they were present on Earth all through the events of Phases 1 - 3, and participated in them in some way: The FF & Shield off-world or off-dimension in the Negative Zone; the Mutants in hiding - engaged in Secret Wars - due to paranoia] without all the multiverse nonsense. DOOM should've always been present as Latvarian Head of State, also involved in the back ground action. They should not have retired Stark & Cap. Recasting Stark [with a younger chap] for prequels or otherwise would've been great. Also no more polite Britlander Vision. Give us a more sinister, intimidating Vision, please. insufficiently_thoughtful_persons. Ding Dong, the Witch is Dead. Now, Fiege should step forward & apologize to everyone. If breaking the fourth wall is so cool, he should do it for real.
  11. That's absurd. Why do they think gay folk liked this tripe? Do they dislike gay folk that much?
  12. A couple days ago I posted it was time for Feige to resign. This is close but not close enough. Feige has allowed the MCU to become a bizarre anti-MCU, anti-Marvel Comics satire that wears its self-contempt on its cape.
