  1. Dawn of The Dead #2 signed by George Romero and Steve Niles. The only one on the census.
  2. Kudos to AlexH for my Dawn of the Dead #2 signed by Romero and Niles and my Dark Tower: Gunslinger Born #4 variant signed by McNiven.
  3. I got two sweet SS books in the mail yesterday. Thanks to AlexH for these beauties. My copies were beat up, so he acquired the raw books and had them signed. It's completely thanks to him that I ended up with two 9.8's. Dawn of the Dead #2 signed by George Romero and Steve Niles. The Dark Tower: Gunslinger Born #4 1:25 variant signed by Steve McNiven. The market's flooded with Furth/David SS Dark Tower books, which makes me love my artist signed copies all the more. I have a bunch more on the way from Jon. Alex, you are my hero. (thumbs u Oh, and what does the deployed soldier store his slabs in you may ask...Well, my own hand-made water bottle long box of course.
  4. I've had this posted in my CAF for awhile, but I finally got it in the mail today. Charlie Adlard's third cover from the run (if you don't count the Omnibus cover). It looks even better in person. I can't wait to frame this baby.
  5. Let me be the first to say sweet. (thumbs u (thumbs u
  6. Not me is it? PM me I will see if I can help out... it does sound familiar Jus playin, what did you send anyway? Sorry if I am nosy but I was born that way I sent a few Dawn of the Deads to be signed by Romero. I'm into the zombie stuff. (thumbs u
  7. Just got a PM. It's all going to be worked out. (thumbs u
  8. Not me is it? PM me I will see if I can help out... No way Jon. Definitely not you. (thumbs u
  9. I need some opinions/advice. I subbed a few books for sig series back in August to a certain unnamed witness. I understand that there is no knowing how long these things take to get back sometimes. I have received books I subbed through another witness for the same event already (so I know they are coming back/are back from CGC). I have been PMing for about two weeks asking for a status on grades or just to see what was up. I can tell that my PMs were read, but there are no responses. I'm a real patient guy and I would wait as long as it takes, but it is making me nervous to be blown off. The witness has also posted sporadically over the last few weeks and last posted yesterday. How long should I wait until I consider this thread? It's already too late to consider a paypal refund (more than 60 days). I am hoping I'm being paranoid and all will be well, what do you guys think? Am I being a spoon?
  10. Great pickup. I love you Tony Moore Walking Dead cover. Welcome to the boards.
  11. Awesome Chris. Did you get this through Splashpage? The second HC cover is still for sale, check it out. http://www.splashpageart.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=9604&GSub=366&GCat=0&UCat=0&Style=Text
  12. The Dark Tower: Gunslinger Born issue 1 page 26. It was also the cover of the sketch variant of the same issue. I got into OA a little too late. It sold in Feb 07. Hopefully it's not hanging on some old Stephen King fans wall. I know it's recent, but I have no idea where it went.
  13. I relate to you here. Sometimes the fairer sex has to curtail our spending or we'd all be broke. When you know you might have a problem is when/if you start hiding your purchases.
  14. I just wanted to let everyone know that Mark Hay at Splashpage is awesome. The work on the site is spectacular and he is very reasonable. I highly recommend him. Albert Moy has incredible art and I have bought many pieces from him, but he definitely is a no nonsense, strictly business kind of guy. There is no other place to get Gunslinger Born Jae Lee art though, so he'll continue to get my business.
