What did you all think was going to happen when you raised the price to an absurd level?
People don’t want to pay $15 extra a card for sub grades.
So the fact that you are not keeping them anymore because no one is paying for them is kinda like shooting yourself in the leg and then asking why it hurts

Having the same issue, except I am attempting to select a Comic Private Signing event. The "Loading tier prices" spins and then does nothing, resulting in a greyed out "Add Comic" button. Tried three different browsers to see if it was tied to my main. Nope, happens on Chrome, Firefox & Edge.
Good to know I wasn't alone - tried multiple browsers as well as multiple computers

It appears the loading price selection part of the form is not loading

Select TCG
Select Mail/Drop Off
Select Grading
"Accept" the waiver
"Add Trading Card" remains greyed out and wont let me move forward.

Is there a market for trainer and energy cards? I have several that I have had for years. Some of them are also in Japanese.
Maybe if you have some 1st Edition originals?
Other than that you may find a niche crowd but I haven't seen any of them moving online.

It varies from tier to tier, but being bulk, it will likely be at least a few more weeks.

Thanks I appreciate it!

Have a few bulk orders two of which were submitted on 6/17/21 and another on 6/26/21. All of them are in the Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging phase and I was just curious if there is a time frame cards remain in that phase before moving on to the next one?
It's been roughly 2 - 3 weeks they've been at that phase and my credit card has been charged for them already.
Thanks!

Has anyone noticed the new turnaround times yet? 32 days for express along with some other changes, at least they aren't lying anymore
I just noticed that - yesterday express was like 7 days

I had a few bulk orders moved to "scheduled for grading". Is there a time frame or date or something more definitive? Or does the scheduled for grading date an internal only timeframe.

Thank Paul! I reached out to them yesterday and was able to get it sorted out.
I had to do the same thing so it must've been a larger issue.

CGC Trading Cards currently only grades standard-sized Pokémon cards. We are working on new holders to encapsulate larger cards as well.
Paul
So does this mean they would begin grading cards that are still sealed in packages (or booster packs)?
I have some cards from the 2000 Pokemon movie that are still in the packaging that they were given out in and was told they cannot be graded.

I also used to be a huge advocate for them but with these changes it just seems pointless. The blue labels, sub grades, everything was super easy to read and understand and now they just throw it all out the window.
“The changes we’re making with CGC Cards will benefit collectors and dealers by making our expert and impartial services more accessible, more affordable and more rewarding,” says Steven R. Eichenbaum, CEO of the Certified Collectibles Group® (CCG®), of which CGC is part. “We are committed to providing the highest levels of service to the card market for decades to come.”
Typical CEO of a company - so far disconnected he has no idea what people actually want.
What a disappointment
