  1. Kudos to Bronzilla for a nice GL 76 reader.....I don't just collect slabs. got to stay in touch with the stories.
  2. Kudos to Tatterdemalion for help in acquiring a great Batman 232 book. The members here go above and beyond. Thanks (thumbs u
  3. Well I got a subscription of an ebay dealer, and so far its benn realy good, he now grading and he send me the best book he has(9.8-9.6) and when Im not happy with a 9.4, he send me another 1 for free, no questions asked. thats what I call customer service. (thumbs u I have just been burned too many times. Everyone selling on ebay does not overgrade, but I would say 75% of them do based on the number of books I receive in worse shape than described. I have also been surprised by undergrading, but it is rare.
  4. Don't buy raw off of ebay unless you want a reader.
  5. Kudos to topofthetotem for a fine transaction. Lawrence is a firm believer in bulletproof shipping and the book arrived safely and promptly. Thanks for a great book.
  6. Rocket Racer: Amazing Spider-Man 172. The rocket skateboard hugging walls just does not work for me. It only took four pages for Spider-Man to beat him down. One of the all time worsts.
  7. Bronze Age are the best as that is the time I started collecting and the covers and format are the best when I look at them regardless of Marvel or DC issues. The 20 cent Marvel covers are especially cool, say, Werewolf by Night 1.
  8. Kudos to Paperheart: I purchased a nice book from him and the transaction was terrific; he is a gentleman, scholar and bulletproof shipper! Thanks again Mike
  9. 2,000 total with a lot of 1970's issues in VF condition, and about 150 CGC books, which are keys in the best condition I could afford.
  10. I don't get too many full runs because I am obsessed with condition and if you try to get HG on every issue in a series it becomes too expensive--I mostly stick to Bronze Age, but even more modern books can add up in a NM full run.
  11. 31 years going strong....I forgot to grow up
  12. My boxes are half as many as that and look like some of those older ones you have there. I just have a bunch of old comic books from the 1970's from my childhood in mine. They probably aren't worth anything. I'll probably just throw them out when I get around to it.
