  1. I often wonder if the fact that Conan is not actually on the cover holds the value back substantially.
  2. Nice to see these gems went to collectors on these boards. Here is the 12/32 (First Conan) I picked up from the seller. Its not in quite as nice condition as the others, but it is the nicest copy of this issue I have ever owned. Im very pleased.
  3. Amazing spines on those copies! I grabbed the 10/32 just after posting the link. I had been looking to replace the copies I had sold and was pleased to find another in nice shape.
  4. This seller has the nicest condition issues of Key Weird Tales I have ever seen by one seller ever to hit Ebay. Figured you guys would want to know if you do not allready. http://www.ebay.com/itm/WEIRD-TALES-NOVEMBER-1937-LOVECRAFT-ROBERT-E-HOWARD-SEABURY-QUINN-BLOCH-/140615051542?pt=Magazines&hash=item20bd4f6916
  5. First time I have seen that particular issue. Love the colors! (thumbs u
  6. Tucson. I could hook you up if you wanted to attend the Doc-Con in phoenix this year. Last year was my first, its a lot of fun.
  7. Im reading the Venus Series by ERB again for probably my 5th time. (thumbs u
  8. Great artwork on that!! Is it on paper or linen or ...? Looks like linen judging from the fiber fray on the edges. There cant be many of those around anymore. I would love to here the history on where that was found.
  9. Black Laquer finish on the frame would look best me thinks.
  10. Very cool! That will look awesome framed! Can you find a frame that size? Way Cool!!!
  11. Well that splains it! Thanks for the clarification! (thumbs u
  12. Always been a fan of Doc. I notice the NRA emblem at the bottom left, even though Doc chose not to use or carry a gun unless it was completely necessary That is intriguing! I read "The Devil Ghengis" last night. In one scene a former bad lady turned good hands her pistol to Doc to use against the bad guys, to escape a seemingly impossible situation! Of course Doc turns the offer down, since that is his way! BTW, great stuff Dwight!! Allways enjoy drooling over your collection!
  13. Just ordered one off of Ebay. A guy is selling for 18.66 plus 3.60 shipping He has one left. Thanks for the heads up!
  14. Bummer. If you dont allready have a copy of this you should snag one. Pretty much the only way to read these classic stories: http://cgi.ebay.com/CITY-NUMBERED-MEN-BEST-PRISON-STORIES-1st-ed-/370334154259?pt=US_Fiction_Books&hash=item5639a2be13
  15. Nice stuff!! Cimm, have you ever seen a Prison Stories pulp come up for sale?
  16. Ok I really think Pulps should be thrown into this mix, due to the amazing stories and relevance to the era when pre-code crime was in its heyday. Plus the covers are awesome!! THE SHADOW BLACK MASK ACE-HIGH DETECTIVE NICKEL DETECTIVE DETECTIVE STORY MAGAZINE THE SPIDER PRISON STORIES ( easily the rarest) There are many many more, and many of these can still be had for prettty cheap. Sorry to intrude boys, just wanted to throw this out there! (thumbs u
  17. Looking through the DC Archives site, I couldnt find a pre Bats Tec book.
  18. Quick question: Have the pre- Bats TECs ever been collected and reprinted? I would love to read those.
  19. Long time coming to find this one. Doc Savage Magazine #1 Many here know I am a huge Doc fan so I was pretty excited to have the opportunity to snag this one. Rarely seen and rarely offered for sale. Should be arriving this friday
  20. One of my favorite covers! Love the Ducks!!! (thumbs u
