  1. your are the Centaur King Rick I wish. JB and Win have complete centaur publishers. Jack has a very impressive array of issues. Scott has some of the real tough ones. King? I might be the clean up boy at that table. I'd just like to be at the table. Definitely some tough books on the Centaur menu.
  2. I don't usually get to post in this thread and really don't post a lot of new stuff but this one I'm kind of geeked out about. It is not the prettiest copy and a low grade but it has been one of my two Timely grails. I doubt if I will own a CA 1 which is the other but I have always wanted a Red Raven #1 so I was happy to win this one. Even with the scuffing, rustiness, moldiness, fading, small slab crack - it's still a Red Raven 1 and the best I could afford (PP credit is great so I'll be paying off for a bit on this one but at 6 months, no interest - I thought what the heck)
  3. You can't go wrong working with Aaron. Great books, great communication, great packaging and service and one super nice guy. Looking forward to some more deals in the future. Thanks a bunch Jeff
  4. So, would it be in the best interest of a time payment situation to ask for a nominal down payment to "seal the deal"? I would be frustrated too; tying up stock for a month, then having to wait another month to put someone on the PL. I know Roy doesn't appear to be heading down a PL nomination but if you were, does the clock start ticking when the first payment is due or when the deal was struck? Conversely let's say you sell the book now to someone else and original supposed buyer then sends payment within the time frame, does that put the seller at risk of PL nomination? Really just curious.
  5. Thanks. Always liked the cover on this one.
  6. The first ones that comes to mind are these - Digests - Treasuries
  7. Just seeing them all in one place is cool but yeah there are tons of books out there. Everytime I see golden aga wall pics posted from cons, I realize how many GA books are there that remain raw. No doubt on SA and above. And I love MTU. One of the first books I bought off the stands was issue #7. I went back and bought the earlier issues and continued to read the series throughout the 70s. MTU 1 is a great book.
  8. The Impossibles. The first super-hero cartoon series I ever saw. I had a TV/meal tray with them on it.
