  1. Here's the CGC announcement of that back in 2002 http://www.cgccomics.com/news/viewarticle.aspx?IDArticle=44 I saw Harley Troy's Conan #1 (from the collection of Don and Maggie) on myslabbedcomics. I think it was sold here on the boards - seemed like I vaguely remember that. It is a newer slab so maybe reholdered and the ped designation was dropped to the collection of? http://www.myslabbedcomics.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=13525&GSub=1163
  2. I just saw the the what do you like thread for Jen Ben - http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=6951093#Post6951093 Awesome book, btw, Michael
  3. They are out there, but few and far between. Stan Lee signs more in one sitting than Frazetta did in total. A Frazetta SS is high on my wants also - availability and cost are not friendly to me though. Some day... Seriously great books, Makmorn.
  4. That's very cool, Sean! The sig placements are great.
  5. What no Byrne That is really great, Andrew (Especially with Murphy Anderson )
  6. Personally, I've learned from this whole ordeal to check all my comics for random dong drawings. There may be a collecting niche for that and those would bring a premium
  7. What's special about Conan 245 to make it worth that much? Someone thinks highly of it. That book is now $155. I don't get it - only one sale (it was a 9.8) on GPA back in Feb of 2012 for $53. I thought maybe a newsstand edition but it's not. What am I missing Registry set play? As good of an explanation as anything I can figure. It's not even Varnae's first appearance

  10. Alas, this cover depicts the story of my life - ever the guy in the green jacket
  11. That is pretty cool. I have never seen it. I used to have unopened cans of Billy Beer but they were lost sometime ago. The 70s was
  12. Those Thors are great. I suspect we are close to the same age. My fist book off the rack was Defenders #2. Still have it but beat and well loved. My first Thor was #225 - at least that was the first one I remember buying and reading. I was hooked on Thor after that. Loved the art and that was the Firelord issue.
  13. 16 out of 388 to have the entire run in CGC 9.0 or better. That is amazing! Such a cool collection, Barton. Good luck on the remaining few.
  14. Great book Michael And congrats on the Sandmans too.
  15. Got my copy of #1 back earlier this week -
  16. Shout out to Dan (Par2ch) for these - Love the sketch Zeck did on the #6. I didn't suggest anything so it was quite a nice surprise to see what he had done. Disappointed CGC did not note Zeck art on the #5 but he did a 7 page interior story - pencils/inks/lettering. It's noted his website.
  17. Take a look at this thread - http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=5590462&fpart=1 I didn't go back through it but it may be helpful. I own the BT 6 - my only Okajima.
  18. Nik is always great to deal with. Picked up some cool DC sealed three packs and a mag - always fast and secure shipping.
  19. Bought a MOS 18 on the boards a while ago, the book's condition looked like toilet paper. New or used?
  20. In hindsight and future sales, could you not stipulate that "purchases must be paid in full unless other terms have been agreed upon within x number of days. If not, then merchandise may be sold to other buyers after the time period has expired."?
