  1. 12k without a resto/trim check . To seller who isn't familiar with comics. Definitely a gamble.
  2. Great Seller. highly recommenced and will surely buy from again... and again... and again etc...
  3. I agree with the bold comment, however I believe this "buyer" bought for the label and possible upgrade , ( due to that label) Which called for the strong price . Which also happens all the time with old labels
  4. $22K actually. Where did that Hulk #1 6.0 sell? Was it a possibly upgradeable copy? CGC 6.5 copies sold for $23 and 24.7K during that same time period in Feb and May. I think you understand my point - a new outlier is not automatically a floor for a book. It's just a data point. Also a 5.0 sold for 13k on dec 6th (eBay).
  5. I think that is still a little generous and I am not sure it can be improved much without seeing it in hand. I still have questions about the seller though. Do you know them? Unless someone really legit is able to vouch for him (highly unlikely) , I'd stay clear of this auction as tempting as it may be to some (which doesn't say much ) IMO , To many question marks.
  6. - white pgs and great sig placement (Very rare on both occasions! )
  7. Improvable? i dont see it improving much, but some people LOVE those old labels They do indeed. But that seems like a high price for a 5.5 (way above the previous GPA high of $15K) unless the buyer believes the book would benefit from a press and resub. Absolutely, too strong IMO, but sometimes that old label gives false CPR belief
  8. Improvable? i dont see it improving much, but some people LOVE those old labels
  9. Thought id bump this thread with my new baby
  10. That's the best looking 3.5 ever! Thanks guys!.. i was stoked when i found it!, looks even sharper in person
  11. OUCH - but 16 years ago the comic landscape was drastically different and no one would have guessed that this book, in said grade, would be eventually 6 figures . still gotta sting though! I had a Hulk 1 5.5 - sold it for 7.5k - 6/8 months later its 15k+
  12. I think most can relate to the OP in someway or form. The longer you wait to re-acquire the ASM 129 the harder it will be, especially now, with the punisher about to get pretty popular again (netflix etc)
