Hey guys. My name is Garth Ali and I am from San Diego, CA. I have been collecting Walking Dead comics for the past two years and would love to get more into comics. Glad to be here on the Boards!!!

Still believe, as I said when this was first revealed, this was not ALL done only by the 12 year old. Not only the content of the posts and PMs but the timing(during school hours) and frequency lead me to believe the dad was posting just as often as the kid.
Agree 100%

cool football helmetsWith the move out to Arizona complete, I've pretty much got the new comic room set up. Still some changes I'm sure will be made, and some new additions, but I wanted to get a good baseline from which to work.Anyway, here is how it looks today
Very cool Man Cave
Really awesome room and storage set up!..

Let's not forget this was a 12 year old kid. He's smart but still immature and obviously hasn't learned enough about ethics and how his lies can affect others. How many of us did stupid things at this age and how many of us had the maturity to match our intelligence?
Stringing him up, sending him to jail, stalking him on-line, that's not how to deal with a child. This kid needs help. I pray that his dad didn't understand that his son was using dishonest methods to make a profit and I pray that his parents will step in and teach him about honesty and ethics.
This event also makes me wonder how many other underage members we have.
All true.
He needs to make amends for what he's done. Pay back the people he lied to to get partial refunds, and (if he overgraded) refund the people that he took on that end of deals.
I pray someone shows him the error in his ways, that the end doesn't justify any means.
There are many ways to make money and just as many to lose one's integrity.
Just ran through some of the last couple pages .. and wow what a disaster - and I agree with comix. however, is that likely the outcome? no. I'm just glad this is all out there before others got "played a fool" by this child (and/or father)
what a mess

Thanks for the guys, I am really grateful to get such an exceptional copy (for the grade) - the FC looks better then a lot of 6.0's I've seen!
I tried to get a bigger pic from imageshack but no matter what I do/option I choose this is the largest pic I can show -
Thanks again all

Front cover looks like a 8.0/8.5 but books was hammered down because of a tape stain on back which I can live with. Very happy with this copy
Could be the best 6.5 I've seen! I'll gladly take back cover defects day in and day out if I get books that present like an 8.0 but cost something like a 6.5! Great book!
tape stains!
but the FC looks gorgeous!! very nice my man

I'm finally in the club!
It was in my price range and it's got the right eye appeal I'm looking for so I went for it. It does have a crack in the slab, but the book is ok. It's complete, no resto, no tape, no missing chunks, no writing, etc... none of my pet peeves.
For a CGC 1.8, I think it looks great.
Nothing wrong with that book. Congrats!
Awesome.
That book, in any grade is never cheap and gets props.

My copy is going to test that theory.
That may be the best looking cover to a 1.8 ive seen in a very long time
