Maybe Whertham was right

He was more than a little bit right...the comic book publishers were out of control. But he also exaggerated a lot, and most heinously, he absolutely ignored a lot of the positive aspects of comic books.

Not quite, but it could have been where "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers got it from.In the early 70s there were a few natch's in the squared circle, Flair pretty much drove the rest out. flowerred.gif
