Fantasy artist Ken Kelly has been added to the show.

We are rapidly running out of small press space even after expanding the creator devoted area of our 12,000 square foot Original Boston Comic-Con Comic Book Convention. We are always looking for talented artists and writers to showcase their work as we have done since 1975.

This will be an exciting show for those who want to see artists that create original art at their appearances. You can even talk to them and take their photo without spending hundreds of dollars on copies or prints!

We are located on the 6th floor of the beautiful downtown Radisson Hotel at 200 Stuart St in the Entertainment District.

Plenty of parking on location and nearby. Free metered parking for early arrivals.

$5 admission with coupon at primatepromotions.com

We have not raised our admission or table prices in ten years.

Breyfogle is a great guest!

He has the be one of the nicest people in the business. We had nothing but positive feedback at his last appearance with us and I enjoyed my time with him driving him from Maine (long story) to Boston's Logan Airport after the show.

His line and sketch list were long but he took time with everybody.

Classic Batman artist to appear at Boston Comic Book Convention

Boston, MA- Longtime Batman artist Norm Breyfogle will be making his only New England appearance at The Boston Comic Book Spectacular Sunday November 4th at The Boston Radisson Hotel's 6th floor Convention Center. This is New England’s largest one day comic book show with the biggest artist alley.

Breyfogle was the artist for Batman's own book from 1990-1992 and his appearance in Detective Comics from 1987-1990. He has also worked on The Spectre, Prime, Metaphysique, Anarky, Hellcat and is currently working on "Of Bitter Souls" for Markosia Press.

"We're happy to have a talented artist like Norm Breyfogle come to Boston" said show promoter Dave Cummings. His run as Batman artist is one of the best in the long history of the iconic DC character and fondly looked upon by fans of the Caped Crusader.

Tens of thousands of New England Comic Book fans have enjoyed previous editions of the popular longtime Boston Comic Book Spectacular which started in 1975 when the hotel was known as Howard Johnson's 57. The show features over 12,000 square feet of Comic Books from 1938-2007, Artists and Writers, toys, promos, exclusive and signed comics, Manga, Anime, DVDs and Music CDs.

According to Cummings, “The Anniversary show is always fun. Along with Norm we have writer Chuck Satterlee, Fantasy Illustrator Ken Kelly and local favorites Hannibal King, Kris Carter, Rich Woodall, Zeke Savory Jr, Andrew LoVuolo, Mike Doherty, Shawn Corliss, Jorge Vega, The Fatsquad, Serendipity Art Sales and over 100 tables of New England‘s finest retailers and dealers of Comics and Collectibles“.

“There will be over one hundred long boxes of bargain Comic Books priced at fifty cents or less!”

“We will also have representatives from the U.S. Marine Corp who will be selling a limited Marvel Superhero poster for the Toys For Tots program“.

“ We run shows in New York City, Hartford and Portland but Boston is my hometown and will always be our favorite show“.

The Boston Comic Book Spectacular Anniversary Comic-Con will be held Sunday November 4 at the Boston Radisson Hotel 200 Stuart St in the 6th floor Convention Center.

The show will be open to the public from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

I spoke with old friend Don Phelps today who is the originator of the show that descented in the Boston Comic Book Spectacular. It's been located at 200 Stuart St since 1975. He told me that his appearance in Boston recently has been "greatly exaggerated".

He also told me that he would like to set up at the show in Boston Sunday with a new collection of vintage comic books that he purchased recently.

We surely do have room for Mr Phelps. and his old comic books

We had a great show yesterday with a good bump in attendance.

This is spite of another show being aggressively scheduled two weeks before ours after our date was made public a year in advance. A block from our location.

and they are trying to take the high ground. lollollol

What goes around.....
