No, digital images will never replace printed comics for me.

I think you speak for the majority of the comic fans OldGuy....

 

I posted this before but I started scanning my comics a few years ago (lost interest about 6 months ago) and now have about 2000 of my comics completely scanned.

 

I hardly ever use the 35 or so CDs that I now have, they are good for reference though, if you want to find a panel or some tib-bit of info it's a LOT faster than browsing through your book-collection, not to say safer.

 

Board-wise, I use my scanned books for making avatars and looking for the answer to the trivia questions

 

Didn't CGC offer the possibility of getting a scan of the comic you got back slabbed at one point ?
