The Uncanny X-Men (Dark Phoenix Saga) TP (1984): Our resident Marvel historians can correct me if I'm wrong here, but I believe that this is the fist trade paperback that Marvel published on its own, explicitly for the growing Direct Market in the early/mid 1980s, after farming out the publication of the majority of their earlier trades (Origins of Marvel Comics, Son of Origins, Super-Hero Women, etc.) to Fireside/Simon & Schuster in the '70s and early '80s. In any case, this is the first "new" Marvel trade paperback I can distinctly remember buying in a comic book store, ca.1985 or so. Reprints Uncanny X-Men #129 - 137, with a new front cover by Bill Sienkiewicz. This is the first printing ($6.95 cover price). Introduction by Stan Lee. VF/VF- copy. Some minor shelf wear, but very clean otherwise.

(NOTE: MutantKeys has first refusal...)

$18

Not trying to gouge ya on it...I've just had it for a long time, read it (very carefully) several times after I sold my X-Men run (something I've also done several times, come to think of it), and have lugged it around since college, so I guess I'm kinda attached to it...
