I store comic books valued over $150.00 this way.

1. Put the book on a Time-Xtender

2. Put book inside of a 1 mil Arklite

3. Put that on a Thin-Xtender

4. Stick all of it into a 4 mil Guard

Again I only use Super Golden Age as it provides a nice border. I have been storing hundreds of books this way and have never had a problem in 5 years. You can leave the book in the Mylars like this for 100's of years.

CGC plastics really aren't healthy for comic books. Why else do you think CGC recommends you resubmit for new holders every 10 years?

Are the Time Extenders equivalent to the Full Backs from Comic Supply, or is it the Life Extenders?

Yes I believe so (Time Extenders). Life Extenders are the 9ml anti-aging sheets whihc I use on my very best books.

Copper Age Defenders get that treatment from you?
