Well, that's your side of the story. I'd like to hear the other side.

As far as showing you, all one has to do is do a search under your screenname in the comics events forum to see examples of your deleted posts. (hm wonder you felt the need to delete posts), and your generally "feeling threatened" attitude by anyone else who wants to advertise a local show.

By the way, if its proven that you are not the shill, I will apologize. I also won't edit this post to obscure that fact. Unlike someone

I have bad mouthed no other shows. Show me one.

You made a statement. Now back it up. Or apologize. I don't need a shill.

Show me this too.

Anybody can run a comic book show. I didn't like the fact that they had to pee on things on their way out the door.

If I set up at all the local shows that I choose then who have I badmouthed?

I am also on good terms with Cliff in Plainville. I have no need to shill other peoples shows just to throw gas on the fire.

I took offense at a few posters pretending that there has not been a successfull comic book show in Boston for over thirty years. There has.

It's called revisionist history. It's okay to succeed on your own without tearing down what stood before.

It's not the Temple Mount.

Gee, all I said was that I attended the New Boston Show in March and I liked it. And I thought it was old-school. I wasn't "pretending" anything. It was the first show I ever attended in Boston.

It's not a conspiracy. I could care less who did what to who.

And blueboyph is your shill. You're just making it worse.

Talk about revisionist history, when did someone say this? Not in this thread.

All the pertinent info was in the 1st post.

The Inaugural Show last March was a breath of fresh air.

Old School to the Max. More comics, no porno stars. Family friendly.

I highly recommend it.

Okay. I'll bite.

There has been a perfectly fine comic book convention in East Hartford for thirty years.

Cowboy Tony is not allowed to set up at Primate Promotions East Hartford show because I would not allow him to display and sell pornography at our little comic book convention that I bring my ten year old daughter to. I even offered extra space so that he could make up any lost income if he left his porn inventory at home.

No. It was porn or nothing. You either have a "need" to sell/buy porn or you don't. Sorry. I just don't believe that children should see openly displayed porn at a comic book convention. Never mind having porn buyers in the same room with attending children.

I am missing it. What are you talking about?

This is about a comic book dealer not being allowed to sell porn at a comic book show. What do you see?

I like Cliff and his show. Don't start trouble where there is none. I have set up at the Plainville show and I will again.

He made a statement and then you had to pipe in about how there has been a perfectly fine con in East Hartford for thirty years. No one asked you to butt in on that. You are constantly threatened by other local shows. Admit it. No one else posts on your Primateprod threads with their paranoid comments. Only YOU.

Also, that con used to be good, great in fact at times. Now it blows. It's small and cramped and half the dealers bring either modern discount drek, or mid grade stuff that I can buy all day long on ebay if I choose. Thank god for Ron Johnson

Its high time the mods banned this guy for creating a shill ID and for starting posts in which only he replies in lol:screwy:

what a sad, lonely man :tonofbricks:

:golfclap: We can only hope!

Great job, Dave! Between the karp you posted here and over in General, I am now thoroughly disgusted. You can take me off your mailing list, I won't be attending any more of your shows. In fact, you've now converted me from a regular attendee to someone who'll be more than happy to let anybody I know what a joke you and your shows are. :hi:

Will you stop your constant badmouthing of Harrison's Comics then? or am I your target of the week Mr. cheap shot??

Are you replying to me? If so, please refresh me - and everyone else - where I've "badmouthed" Harrison's? I've repeatedly said positive things about Harrison's on the boards and in fact just bought a book there about a week ago. You're grabbing at straws. :screwy:

BTW, my apologies to Bedrock for contributing posts like this. The important info of this thread is indeed the Boston Comic Con on 10/21, which I look forward to attending.
