I was finally able to find a post in the Ask Kevin and Plitch thread re: prices for SS submissions. I have a question about how it works practically speaking if we're not going to be there. Do we contact a SS witness and ask/pay them to get our books signed? Do most witnesses charge a fee for this or is that part of the higher SS sub fees? How many books can/would you suggest having any 1 artist sign? I'm not envisioning a stack of books but rather that I might want Rosa sigs on 2 books.

You contact a Witness (or they contact you) and send the books to them (or give them if they are local). The costs vary, but most charge the $27 basic price plus shipping. If they charge additional costs it is to cover additional expenses such as travel and accomodations or signing fees to the creators.

 

Submit as many as you think are reasonable (and affordable!) to you. If the artist limits, the Witness may have to limit. Rosa on 2 books is completely reasonable.
