Well, I'm guessing it's not faded and that your scanner is just a little too bright or a little weak on the true colors, and that what I see on the back cover is not creasing, but simply some wayward dirt . . . That being said, I don't see any defects which would preclude a 9.4 :sumo:

 

Call me crazy, but I always liked that cover as well . . . kind of a BA round-up! :headbang:

The scan doesn't do it justice. While I don't think it's a 9.4, I do think it's a 9.2. The scanner light has amplified the BC as it's not near that dirty. It appears really dull in the scan picture but very vibrant in hand. I'll have to play with the settings as this may be affecting my other scans as well.

If that is true, it is a solid 9.2 then as the dirty cover is what dragged it down. CGC it.
