Iron Man 55 CGC 9.8

17 posts in this topic

Hey, I had a complete set of Iron Man at one point. I can appreciate how scarce the 15c and 20c Iron Mans are because I spent a lot of time looking for them back in the day. A 9.8 #55 is kind of a big deal to me. I wouldn't pay the going rate for it as I don't believe in paying 9.8 money but nontheless that is a pretty sweek book. Not sure what your damage is, you seem bored with everything except1969-1974 DC 893blahblah.gif

Expand your horizons greggo! tonofbricks.gif - There's a world of great independents out there! grin.gif

Missed the Black and White implosion so I am glad I don't have any nostalgia for them! Anyways, the market is skewed by the insufficiently_thoughtful_person specs! hi.gif

I'm sure you know how hard it is to find an IM 55 with a decent cut.

This is one of the tougher Bronze books I can think of for print defects.

If it doesn't have an off centered cover, it has the black "Marvel Comics Group" banner at the top running off the top of the book.

If you can find one without those problems, then you have the diamond cut or skewed cut to sort through.

And I've seen some seriously bad diamond cuts on this book.

This book looks to be one of the nicer cuts, as well as high grade.

No doubt the nicest one I've seen.
