I have 9 Atlas covers.

Not sure where most of the Atlas covers have come from? Artists? Marvel office? Stolen? etc.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the extra info. Very few from this period have survived, and I only know of 2 Timely/ Atlas superhero covers to have survived (Human Torch & an Everett prelim. Marvel comics) from 1939-1956

I did not see the covers in your website.

Would you mind telling me what artists and genres the Atlas covers are?

Best,

Rich

Astonishing #8 is by Heath.

I would like to know what issue the Journey into Mystery cover is from.

What really interests me if any covers have survived besides by the regular artists:

Bill, Russ, Joe, John, Vince

Best,

Rich

doh! Read through your initial post too quickly and missed that.

After looking at that Everett piece - I can only respect him more - WOW.

Nice that the cover to Battlefield #6 is one of the surviving Heath pieces.

That would make 3 Timely Everett's (2 of them published)....

Plus I think someone has some a set of Timely-era loose concepts drawings.

Also, for a Timely sister company, the artwork for most or all of a Wolverton "Joker Mag." - Powerhouse Pepper story does survive.
