That grade is clearly correct. It's written right on the book!

 

 

This one looks sharper in general, but the long crease will cap the grade. I'd guess 3.5/4.0 range, depending on how much you drop it for the crease.

Thanks for the feedback. This one is probably okay for 4.5. It does have good gloss but I would have preferred to do without the writing. The pic I saw did not clearly show writing other than the marker over the price. C'est la vie. It's allowed in the grade stated so not much room to argue I guess.

It was about $50 including a couple of other reader books. So probably $45 for that one alone. PM me if you want it at that price as I'm about to send this and the US 179 back for a full refund.

4.0 - maybe I'm easy. but when one gets below 8.0, a .5 overgrade is pretty close value wise, and open to argument anyway, so I wouldn't bother sending it back if it were me.
