Joe Maneely article in AlterEgo

There's a fascinating article about Joe Maneely in the September issue of Roy Thomas' AlterEgo magazine.

I knew his name and could recognize his art, but before reading the article I knew squat about him. He was like the Jack Kirby of Atlas.

Go figure.

Maneely was a detailed artist for Atlas. I have Venus & Sailor Dan(?) comics by him. Thanks for the tip. Have to buy the Alter Ego mag now.
