Reese Witherspoon to Play Sue Storm

Did you guys hear about this? I guess they're replacing Alba with Witherspoon for FF3.

 

Personally, I think it will be a big improvement. Witherspoon has so much more acting range than Jessica Alba. I also think that she looks more like Sue Storm.

Well, she sure is better fit for the roll than Jessica Alba. And at least she can act. I still think Elisha Cuthbert would have been the perfect person for the part though.

it had it's glaring flaws, but it was enjoyable. far better than the first movie. best thing about it was the few fan boy moments (won't spoil it).

i love JA but it was just way too freaky watching a caucasianized Alba. it was just wrong.

I think Witherspoon is hot. They should have cast her from the beginning. A lot better than that bony azz Alba.

Besides looking the part, I'm sure the director wants to develop an actual character.

 

Alba was there for eye candy, and in the long run, that just wasn't enough to bring customers into the theatre.

Wouldn't Witherspoon cost a lot more than Alba? I think she would be a better fit but so would a better screenplay and director.
