I.D. this Superman comic

Came across this photo of Bud Collyer. He was the voice of Superman on the old radio shows and in cartoons and movies.

 

Can anyone identify the Superman book he is holding? I don't recognize it.

There are more comics on the table: Star Spangled #56, All-American #73, and an issue of Action, probably #98, and a few more whose covers aren't visible.

Yeah, I'm always amazed when something like this comes up, and people quickly identify the comic from a tiny pic in b&w, at an odd angle, just a part of the cover visible, etc. Like those comics on the table.

They must've liked that cover a lot, the basic image was used again on Superman 56.
