Grades on A are looking a touch optimistic. I think a few of you may have missed the crease going across the center. Something's also going on in the word "Aurora" on the back...can't tell if it's a scratch or a printing crease.

 

My guesses:

 

A: 5.5/6.0

 

B: Solid 8.0, with a shot at 8.5. Nice!

I had books in similar condition but not black and 5.0 and 7.5/8.0 is very accurate. I think the 7.5 would prevail as it is a black cover
