So, I Walk by a Used Record Store on the Way to my Hair Stylist...

...and in the window is a late 70s Wonder Woman sitting in the window. I stop and think for a second, and of course walk in.

 

The place is new (moved from another location) and super clean. I see two rows of bagged (but not taped) of comics sitting there. I savour the moment even though I'm already sure there will be nothing but crud.

 

I start going through the pile and it's 90% BA horror...relatively high grade as well! Marvel and DC, Charlton even. Then, a low grade pre-code horror book Beyond #15! Then a few nice shape Canadian issues of early 50's Marvels (Justice, some romanve, Patsy)! Then some more late GA and early SA romance and Millie's. Then more BA horror. Then a lmost a whole ron of Pacific Twisted Tales including 2 very high grade copies of #1.

 

All in all, he had way more interesting stuff than most local LCSs.

 

I got around 25 books for...

 

...$40.

 

It doesn't happen often anymore, but that was fun..

I couldn't get past that either.

 

Brian, just because you cut your hair with a lawn mower on the lowest setting, does not mean others here don't want to be fancy lads.
