I can't really see that much wrong with that book. It looks beautiful. If that book's back cover is as nice as the front I'd go NM+ 9.6

9.4 simply for the lower left hand corner.

Without that slight rounding, it would be a 9.6...

Barring any problems on the back cover, that is.

I'm pretty hesitant to call anything a 9.6 from just a scan. I guess that slight rounding is something I'd forgive given the overall quality of the book. It seems very minor too.

It is. The larger-than-life scan is amplifying it. You have to really lean in close to see it when looking at the actual book.

I don't think I've even seen a slabbed copy higher than a 9.2.

 

This copy is too perfect in terms of centering, structure, gloss and page quality......it's a definite keeper.
