I'm thinking 7.5 as well, provided there are no nasty suprises on the back.

Seems to have some wear on the cover, but don't ask me why I am thinking this.

That and the amount of stress cracks along the spine = 7.5. Could actually be a bit lower if there's something I am missing.

7.5 is probably accurate once you see the book in person... based on the scan, very hard to tell.

I agree. 7.5. I had as 7.5 wih a little more wear but I think it had more cover gloss.

the spine stress on this isn't enough to drop it to 7.5.

Now as to cover wear that is hard to tell.

The corners look good, no creases, edges look solid.

I'd give it an 8.0

If this is a fresh, crisp book then I see nothing keeping it from a VF, looks like light spine stress and a bit of wear to the right-hand corner tips, but no notable creases. However, any amount of light cover wear/soiling, rounding/fraying of the corner tips, and any unseen defects (back cover/interior) could quickly push it down to the F/VF range.
