This is a guess because it's hard to get a good look at the spine, but from the back it appears the spine has heavy stress and some hints of staple wear and tear, and possibly a small spine split at the bottom. It also has a major crease on the bottom of the front cover, running through the footstool. Therefore, I'll say a nice looking 4.5.
